This is a unique, one of a kind, geometric
floor mosaic I designed and installed in my mother and stepfather's
home in Shediac, New Brunswick. The design was inspired by the pattern
of snake skins and wild roses.
My name is René Cyr. I am an artist who works in several different mediums; painting, woodblock, lino tile, ceramic, wood, glass, textiles and metal. I have also designed furniture and clothing as well as theater props and film sets. On this website, I will exhibit some of my art and keep you informed on my current projects and aspirations.
Whoever said that you cannot use some creative juices for your flooring is terribly wrong. This floor looks fantastic, Rene! I’m pretty sure your mother loves this work of art you did on her house. The design looks nifty and excellent. Your idea and inspiration clearly translate on this floor artwork.

Kudos to you, Rene, for taking your creativity to a different level and creating amazing floor artwork! The design is simple, yet very unique. Your guests will definitely take notice of that beautiful work you did on the flooring. I just love how you mixed and matched different shades and designs to come up with that design!
